Pierpont Place, Salt Lake’s Premier Event Venue, offers full-service event planning, coordination, and venue management—all in our urban-chic space in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. We also provide in-house floral design, bar service, catering coordination, and custom event styling—whether bold and modern or timeless and traditional.
With a modern aesthetic and a LA/New York vibe, we offer a vast inventory of themed and one-of-a-kind custom décor elements, along with an award-winning team of designers, planners, and event professionals. Our venue is a blank canvas that can be transformed to bring any vision to life.
In our nearly two decades in business, we’ve hosted just about every kind of event imaginable: from over-the-top weddings to custom theme parties, from Sundance Film Festival premiere celebrations to elegant soirées for the French Chamber of Commerce, and even black-tie awards galas and high-profile celebrity events.

Our Story
Pierpont Place, “Salt Lake’s Premier Event Venue,” was founded by Janice Boes in 2006 as the next chapter of her already thriving business, Premier Event Services, which launched in Salt Lake City in 2001. After years of producing luxury weddings, corporate events, nonprofit galas, and private celebrations across Utah, Janice saw a clear gap in the market: Salt Lake City lacked a modern, flexible event venue where clients could bring their own style and vision to life.
With her big-city background—rooted in Los Angeles creativity and inspired by New York City’s trendsetting flair—Janice brought a sleek, metropolitan design sensibility that was nearly unheard of in Utah at the time. Her vision was to create a contemporary, full-service event space in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City—a venue that would feel like a “blank canvas,” completely customizable for any wedding, party, or corporate function. That dream became Pierpont Place.
Today, Pierpont Place is recognized as a pioneer of urban chic in Utah’s event scene. Known for its modern aesthetic and personal, VIP-level service, Pierpont delivers not just a stunning venue, but a seamless planning experience. From managing vendors and rentals to custom florals, bar service, and design, our full-service team handles every detail—so our clients can relax, celebrate, and enjoy the moment.
